Objective: Consultancy Leading to Certification of Management Systems for the five Companies.

Result: Four Companies Certified (C&H Garments, Cimerwa Ltd., KIM University, Ngali Energy) & one company went under receivership while awaiting Certification.

Positions held: Regional Consultant – British Standards Institute (BSI)

Activities performed: This assignment involved consultancy and guidance for five Firms/ Enterprises (Chillington Rwanda, C&H Garments, KIM University, Cimerwa Ltd., Ngali Energy). This included but not limited to the following;

• Provide guidance and assistance for the implementation of ISO
  9001 at enterprise level after a workshop has been conducted
  on “ISO 9001 and other quality management tools such as 5S”;
• Provide guidance and assistance for the conduct of internal
  audits at enterprise level after a workshop has been conducted
  on “Internal Audit for ISO 9001”;
• Provide guidance to participants in documentation clinics;
  Respond to enquiries related to the implementation of ISO 9001
  at enterprise level from the local consultants;
• Review final documentation from the enterprises to check their
  adequacy prior to their pre-assessment, after they have been
  checked by the local consultants;
• Review the presentations to be made at the experience-sharing
  workshops, after they have been checked by the local
  consultants.
